Partners

The Ministère acts in tandem with national, regional and local partners including the Commission des partenaires du marché du travail, the regional councils of labour market partners, sectoral workforce committees and local communities. It also works closely with numerous community organizations active in employment, the fight against poverty and collective rights advocacy.

Its main government partners are:

  • the Ministère de la Santé et des Services sociaux
  • the Ministère du Développement économique, de l’Innovation et de l’Exportation
  • the Ministère du Travail
  • the Régie des rentes du Québec
  • the Revenu Québec
  • the Services Québec
  • the Directeur de l’état civil du Québec
  • the Commission de la santé et de la sécurité du travail
  • the Régie de l’assurance maladie du Québec
  • the Comité consultatif de lutte contre la pauvreté et l’exclusion sociale
  • Human Resources and Skills Development Canada

The Ministère is also responsible for administering the Québec Parental Insurance Plan, working closely with the Conseil de gestion de l’assurance parentale to fully exercise its role with respect to the Plan.
