Emploi-QuébecEmploi-Québec is an agency within the Ministère de l’Emploi et de la Solidarité sociale. Its mission is to contribute to developing employment and the workforce and to combat joblessness, poverty and social exclusion with a view to economic and social growth. Québec Parental Insurance PlanThe Québec Parental Insurance Plan is an income replacement plan that pays benefits to eligible parents following the birth or adoption of a child and helps to better reconcile work and family responsibilities. Secrétariat à l’action communautaire autonome et aux initiatives socialesThe Secrétariat enables recognition of the contribution of the community and volunteer milieu. It also manages the Fonds d’aide à l’action communautaire autonome, which ensures sustained funding for community and volunteer action year after year. Solidarité socialeUnder Solidarité sociale services, financial assistance is granted to individuals and families incapable of meeting their needs without help. Through active partnership, Solidarité sociale also contributes to preventing and resolving problem issues for individuals or groups in order to foster their economic and social self-reliance. |
