Formulate a complaint

Are you dissatisfied with a decision rendered by the Ministère de l’Emploi et de la Solidarité sociale or a service provided? You can file a complaint with the Bureau des renseignements et plaintes

  • in person or in writing at the following address:

  • by completing the form below.

Note – The Bureau des renseignements et plaintes responds to requests for information and to complaints sent to it by Internet as quickly as possible. However, depending on the email service you use, we may have difficulty sending you the information requested. If you do not receive a response within 10 working days, we suggest that you contact us again.














Processing a complaint:

  • In accordance with the Ministère’s Service Statement to Citizens, the Bureau des renseignements et plaintes has a commitment to send confirmation, within two working days of receiving a complaint, that the complaint is being duly processed.
  • All complaints are checked thoroughly to ensure compliance with decisions regarding your file.
  • The Bureau des renseignements et plaintes follows up on your request to ensure that it is dealt with appropriately.
  • The Bureau des renseignements et plaintes is not a substitute for the review process prescribed in the Individual and Family Assistance ActLink to external site.
