Reviews
What is a review?
A review is a right under the Individual and Family Assistance Act
and the Act respecting parental insurance
to request a re-examination of a decision by the office in charge of your file (local employment centre, regional board, Customer Communication Centre, or customer service centre for decisions related to the Québec Parental Insurance Plan) if you disagree with the decision.
The review gives you the opportunity to be heard and present your point of view. You will receive a letter notifying you of the review decision.
The review office agrees to:
- Send you acknowledgement of receipt as soon as it receives your application and provide you with the name and contact information of the person in charge of your file;
- Hand down a decision in writing within 10 business days of the date of your interview or the date of receipt of the required documents.
