Services

The services offered by the agency fall into two categories: financial assistance and individual assistance. With regard to the former, Solidarité sociale implements and administers last-resort assistance programs and supports low-income earners and households to encourage them to work and prevent them from needing last-resort financial assistance. To assist individuals, Solidarité sociale offers recipients individualized support in their efforts to become autonomous and enter the labour market. Officers work on both of these components at the same time.
