Financial assistance

Participate in Youth Alternative Program and you’ll receive financial assistance in the form of a youth allowance that will cover your living expenses while you look for a job.

You’ll start receiving the youth allowance as soon as your program application is approved and will continue receiving it until you have completed the action plan that you and the employment-assistance officer have prepared for you.

Day-care and transportation expenses may be reimbursed if you need these services in order to participate in the program.
