Participation in Youth Alternative Program will get you personalized coaching from an employment-assistance officer at your local employment centre. Together, you can develop an action plan that fits your needs and reality in relation to the labour market.

An action plan tailored to your situation will help you choose the activities that best suit your needs in order to:

• get a job that meets your expectations;
• if necessary, direct you to the training you need to find employment you like;
• prepare you to enter the job market;
• advise you on effective tools for conducting a productive and profitable job search.

Your employment-assistance officer will assist you every step of the way while you implement your action plan.
