If you do not agree with a decision from your local employment centre (CLE), you many apply for a review.

• First, your officer can provide you with an explanation to help you understand the reasons for the decision.
• If you are still not satisfied, you may, in cases provided for under the Act, apply in writing for a review within 90 days of receiving the notice of decision from the Ministère de l’Emploi et de la Solidarité sociale.
• Complete the Application for review (, 120 KB) form available at all CLEs or at your regional review office, and forward it to your CLE, where it will undergo preliminary processing.
• If your CLE cannot modify the decision being contested at this stage, your application will be forwarded to the Ministère de l’Emploi et de la Solidarité sociale’s review service, which studies your application and renders another decision. If you are contesting a decision concerning limited capacity due to reasons of health, your application for review is processed by the Department’s medical review service.
• If you disagree with the decision made following the review, you may file an appeal with the Tribunal administratif du Québec (TAQ) within 60 days of receiving the notice of decision. Forms for this purpose are available at TAQ offices. The TAQ decision is final.
