Introduction
The National Reconciliation Program for Duplessis Orphans Who Were Residents of Certain Institutions offers individual financial assistance of $15,000 to persons commonly known as Duplessis orphans, who were residents of certain non-psychiatric institutions. On December 15, 2010, Cabinet adopted a new Order-in-Council (#1147-2010) allowing the Ministère to verify applicant eligibility and assess their applications received after December 23, 2009. |
