Introduction
The purpose of the Income Support Program for Older Workers is to offer monthly financial assistance to older workers who have been let go or laid off and find themselves out of a job because of the current economic situation.
In force on April 1, 2009, this program grants financial assistance to targeted workers to help them keep their savings or from liquidating part of their assets.
